World Harbour Festival Rotterdam 4- 5- 6 september 1998

This is the first time I took part as one of many volunteers on organising this festival. I thought it to be a great experience, having a great weekend, with complete strangers. There were about 500 volunteers who made this festival a succes!
This festival which is all about the Harbour of Rotterdam, was visited by 325.000 people!

The organisation wishes to have doubled the number of visitors going to the festival by the year 2001. This means the activities will no longer be about the Harbour only, but there will be other activities and new ones as well. For instance: This year more activities were held for children of all ages, some of the activities were: Several pop-podia and a Harbour Pop Award.
